First....girl! Maybe? Lol. Intrepid female technician and explorer from the Upper Midwest. Not afraid to be the only female and I can hang with the boys but hoping more of my feminine counterparts will join.
Dick pics sent. Check PM's.
mods...?
No need, I didn't see anything in there. I guess the file was too small.

Hey all. Experienced but retired field tech here, in my 30's from the midwest. Retired in the sense that I've moved on to full time work with my home state's DNR. But I'll always be a field tech at heart and I hope to be able to help some of the new crop and relive some of my glory days riding the rails. Also love an anonymous forum to shoot the bull and blow off some steam.

Sell out!! Jk bro, congrats on the DNR gig. I'll be following in your footsteps someday when I'm ready to hang 'em up too.
Also what's the deal with your name, I thought you worked in state government, not ALDI corporate

All good man. I just like the vibe of Aldi. It's not about the quarter, it's about just being decent and not inconveniencing someone. It's what the quarter represents. I mean, how does it feel when you pull into a parking spot at the big grocery store only to find someone's blocked a third of it because they're too lazy to put the cart away. You can't walk 50 yards? Well with this being America, maybe not. But really there's no excuse.
Aside from that, the shopping experience is so much more manageable, not overwhelming and blindlingly bright. Decent selection of natural and organic food and good prices. I'm willing to wait a little longer in a line if I can pay less. Just all around better in every way. So yeah I like Aldi, it's a good business model. I don't even own stock in it - it's not publicly traded.
Our grocery system is more like a gross-try system. It's messed up.

Greetings everyone.I signed up a bit ago but haven't got around to posting or updating my profile yet. Well, here we go. I'm in the field tech game a couple years, still fairly new, gaining experience, learning my way around, and getting into the lifestyle. It's pretty natural to me. I'm an outdoorsy solitude loving sort of person. Really at home with the trees and animals. Excited to join this community while its new. I like the blog posts (so far) and the insight being shared here so I'm excited to contribute.

It appears someone isn't old enough to have been shown Dark Crystal as a child
