Why does it have to be structured. There's plenty of ambient stuff that doesn't have verses or measures. Is beatboxing vocalization - like the vocal cords aren't vibrating, right? And I don't know about the touching part either. I mean you hit some thing with another thing. Like you're touching something but not what's actually making the noise.
yeah it really gets challenging here. I'd want to say something like "intentional production of sound" too be more all-encompassing but then it's like a five year old making fart noises would fit that definition. So it has to be more limited than that. And even to say that it's intended to cause an emotional response or something doesn't work either because the kid is definitely trying to annoy you. Did you have an answer in mind Smokey?
